How your data is handled
AgriID is the single login for agri.in, milk.in and theorganic.in. This page says plainly what we keep, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do. It is written to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we store
Your mobile number, the @handle you pick, and whatever you choose to add to your profile — name, pincode (which fills in your district), language, interests and a photo. We also keep a record of the devices you are signed in on, so you can see them and sign any of them out.
What we never do
Your mobile number is never shown publicly, never sold, and never passed to a business unless you choose to share it with them. When you do share it, that reveal is recorded so you can see exactly who received it and when.
What you control
Every profile field has a visibility switch, and your location is only ever shared as a district — never the pincode itself. You can change your language, sign out of any device, or leave fields empty; everything free on all three sites works without an account at all.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to delete your AgriID, and see the log of every time your contact details were revealed. All three live on your profile page.
Sign-in limits
OTP requests are limited per number, per IP address and per device. This is what stops someone else running up SMS on your number; it is also why repeated attempts ask you to wait.
